Position: Stanley (9-under 275) tied for 13th, and Gonzales (1-under 283) tied for 58th behind winner Johnson Wagner (267), who defeated Spencer Levin in a playoff.
Recap: The Bellarmine Prep product and All-American from Clemson recorded his best finish on the PGA tour, and eclipsed the $100,000 mark for season earnings in the process. Only an untimely double bogey on the front nine prevented Stanley from getting his first top-10 finish. … So what happened to Gonzales, the Capital High product? Five bogeys and a double bogey sent him freefalling 37 spots down the leaderboard – the worst drop Sunday.
