This week: PGA Tour’s CIMB Asia Pacific Malaysia Classic, Thursday through Sunday, The Mines Resort and Golf Club, Selangor, Malaysia.

World ranking: 41st.

2010 earnings: $2.37 million (31st on the PGA Tour).

Last tournament: Nearly a month has passed since the Puyallup product posted his tied-for-ninth finish at the Tour Championship in Atlanta (1-under-par 279), sewing up his sixth top-10 finish of the season. Now he tackles the first PGA Tour event staged in Asia where the top-25 in the FedEx Cup playoffs and 15 international players were invited to play in this field. Moore will stay in Asia next week as well, hoping he gets into the WGC-HSBC Championships event in Shanghai. Right now, he is the second alternate to get into the tournament.

Tee time Thursday: 8:47 p.m. PDT Wednesday with Mardan Mamat.
