This week: PGA Tour’s Deutsche Bank Championship, Friday through Sunday, TPC Boston, Norton, Mass.
Third-round score: 1-under-par 70.
Position: Moore (3-under 210) is tied for 41st, 14 strokes behind leader Jason Day (196).
Recap: A late-round rally, capped by a pair of birdies, helped turn in an under-par round. His 9-iron on the par-3 17th left him a sizable putt, which he made from nearly 20 feet. The next hole, a par-4, the Puyallup golfer almost canned his approach shot from the fairway, and he tapped in a 3-footer for birdie.
Tee time Monday: 7:15 a.m. PDT with Tim Petrovic.
