American Lake Course to get $25,000 from USGA

The USGA will present a check for $25,000 to the American Lake Golf Course today during U.S. Amateur play at Chambers Bay.

Former professional golfer Ken Still will be on hand to receive check for the course along with Harold Roberts, president of Friends of American Lake.

The American Lake Golf Course is affiliated with the Veterans Administration hospitals and focuses on giving recreation opportunities for disable and able-bodied veterans.
