This week: PGA Tour’s Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, Thursday through Sunday, Colonial Country Club, Fort Worth, Texas

Third-round score: 4-under-par 66.

Position: Stanley (10-under 200) is tied for 18th, six strokes behind co-leaders Brian Davis and Bryce Molder (194).

Recap: A bang early, and a really big bang late for the Gig Harbor golfer, who finished off one of the tougher stretches on the PGA Tour – No. 16-18 at Colonial CC – with all birdies Saturday. His highlight came on the par-4 17th when he hit the green with his approach from a fairway bunker, and made a 19-foot putt.

Tee time Sunday: 9:30 a.m. PDT with K.J. Choi (again).
