This week: PGA Tour’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, Thursday through Sunday, Bay Hill Club and Resort, Orlando, Fla.

Second-round score: Even-par 72.

Position: Moore (even-par 144) is tied for 44th, seven strokes behind co-leaders Ben Curtis, Ernie Els, Davis Love III and D.J. Trahan (137).

Recap: The Puyallup product isn’t finding a whole lot of birdies on the “Florida “Swing,” averaging 2.8 birdies per round – well below his 4.5 average everywhere else this season. In fact, Moore was in danger of missing the cut at 1-over before he got up-and-down from a greenside bunker behind the par-5 16th green for a birdie, his second one of the round.

Tee time Saturday: 7:27 a.m. PDT with Hunter Mahan.
