This week: PGA Tour’s Waste Management Phoenix Open, Thursday through Sunday, TPC Scottsdale, Scottsdale, Ariz.

Second-round score: 5-under-par 66.

Position: Moore (10-under 132) is tied for third, one stroke off the lead shared by Camilo Villegas and Mark Wilson (131).

Recap: After an early double bogey, the Puyallup golfer played near-flawless golf – seven birdies and no bogeys. And like he did Thursday, he did his damage on his final nine holes (No. 1 through 9). He began that side with back-to-back birdies, then finished it off by knocking a pitching wedge approach from 130 yards out close, and sinking an 8-foot putt for birdie to get in the second-to-last group for the third round Saturday.

Tee time Saturday: The second round will resume at 6:30 a.m. PST. Moore should be on the course sometime around 12:30 p.m. PST.
