This week: PGA Tour’s Bob Hope Classic, Wednesday through Monday, PGA West Nicklaus and Palmer Courses, SilverRock Resort and La Quinta CC, La Quinta, Calif.

Fourth-round score: 5-under-par 67 at Nicklaus Course.

Position: Moore (19-under 269) is alone in 10th, four strokes behind co-leaders Bubba Watson and Alex Prugh, of Spokane (265).

Recap: Well, the Puyallup golfer is certainly within striking distance as the final round will conclude today on the Palmer Course. Again, Moore rallied late, turning a so-so round into his seventh round in the 60s this season by making three birdies in a row (Nos. 3-5), and registering a final one on the par-5 eighth. His 24 total birdies are tied for seventh in the field.

Tee time Monday: 9:30 a.m. PST off Palmer’s first tee with Steve Elkington and D.J. Trahan.
