This week: PGA Tour’s Deutsche Bank Championship, Thursday through Sunday, TPC Boston, Norton, Mass.

First-round score: 1-over-par 72.

Position: Moore is tied for 76th, nine strokes behind co-leaders Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker (63).

Recap: A pair of double bogeys in the first five
holes put the Puyallup golfer quickly in a hole. It took two shots to
get out of greenside rough on the par-3 third for one double bogey, and
the other came two holes later, a par-4 and the most difficult hole on
the course, he hit his drive so far right, he had to take a penalty
stroke. Moore rallied with birdies on the sixth and seventh holes.

Tee time Saturday: 9:46 a.m. PDT off the 10th tee.
