This week: PGA Tour’s HP Byron Nelson Championship, Thursday through Sunday, TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas, Irving, Texas.

First-round score: 3-over-par 73.

Position: Kelly is tied for 114th, eight strokes behind co-leaders Ken Duke and James Nitties (65).

Recap: Only one-third of the field shot under-par
rounds, and Kelly got off to a rough start with bogeys on three of his
first four holes. He settled down after that to play even-par the rest
of the way, making his final birdie on the par-5 16th hitting a wedge
from 20 yards out to tap-in distance.

Tee time Friday: 6:50 a.m. PDT off the 10th tee.
