Site: Scottsdale, Ariz.

Schedule: Thursday-Sunday.

Course: Grayhawk Golf Club, Raptor Course (7,125 yards, par 70).

Purse: $5 million. Winner’s share: $900,000.

Television (all times PDT): Golf Channel (Thursday, 1-4 p.m., 6-9
p.m.; Friday, 9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., 1-4 p.m., 7-10 p.m.;
Saturday-Sunday, 3-5 a.m., 1-4 p.m., 7-10 p.m.; Monday, 3-5 a.m.).

Last year: Canadian Mike Weir won his first tour title since
February 2004, beating Australia’s Mark Hensby by a stroke. Weir has
eight career victories.

Last week: Marc Turnesa won the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals
for Children Open for his first PGA Tour title, shooting 62-64-69-68
for a tournament-record 25-under 263 total. He led wire-to-wire. Matt
Kuchar finished second, a stroke back.

Notes: The tournament is the fifth of seven Fall Series events.
Puyallup’s Ryan Moore is in this week’s field. … The tour will be in
Florida the next two weeks for the Ginn Sur Mer Classic in Palm Coast
and the Children’s Miracle Network Classic in Lake Buena Vista.
