This week: PGA Tour’s Memorial Tournament, Thursday through Sunday, Muirfield Village GC, Dublin, Ohio.

Third-round score: 3-over-par 75.

Position: Moore (3-over 219) is tied for 28th, and trails leader Mathew Goggin of Australia by 11 strokes. Goggin is at 8-under 208.

Recap: Rain delays and errant approach shots led to
the Puyallup native’s undoing. He hit only seven of 18 greens in
regulation, and was hitting chip shots from the rough much of the
afternoon. Moore was standing in the fairway on the par-5 seventh when
play was halted for two hours because of showers, and he returned to
bogey two of his next three holes. Perhaps the par-5 15th summed up
Moore’s day the best. He found a greenside bunker in two shots, but the
ball plugged in the sand. His third shot found the rough, and he missed
a 30-foot par putt for his fourth bogey of the afternoon.

Tee time Sunday: 7:09 a.m. PDT with John Mallinger.
