Gretchen Peters plays Morso on Feb. 10

Country Music Award winning singer-songwriter Gretchen Peters will play at Morso in Gig Harbor on Friday, Feb. 10 in an 8 p.m. show. It’s a stop on her Hello Cruel World tour.

Peters won the 1995 CMA Song of the Year for “Independence Day” sung by Martina McBride. She’s a two-time Grammy nominee.

Singer/songwriter Ian Moore plays Morso on Thursday

Seattle-based Singer/Songwriter Ian Moore will play Gig Harbor’s Morso wine bar on Thursday in an 8 p.m. show.

Moore cut his teeth in the 90’s roots rock scene of Austin, Texas as a guitar prodigy. He has opened for the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, ZZ Top and Paul Weller and played with Roky Erickson and Jason Mraz.

Moore will be performing an acoustic show as part of the Americana Music Series produced by Michael ONeill and Morso.

Jaime Wyatt makes a homecoming to Gig Harbor

Hometown girl Jaime Wyatt will play Morso Wine Bar in Gig Harbor on December 9 in an 8 p.m. show. Chicago-born rocker Ted Wulfers will open for her.

Wyatt is a 2004 Gig Harbor High School graduate. She started performing at Tacoma’s Antique Sandwich Co., The Swiss and Jazzbones with her band, Jaime Wyatt and Seventh House, before she even left high school. She signed with Lakeshore Records when she was 17.

Michael O’Neill to play at Morso in Gig Harbor Sept. 10

Gig Harbor-based singer/songwriter Michael ONeill will play at Morso Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. His performance will be a celebration of the first year anniversary of “The Americana Music Series.”

O’Neill has been touring for more than 20 years. In addition, O’Neill is supporting and producing touring artists through “The Americana Music Series.” Teaming with Morso, the series included performances by Kevin Montgomery, Steve Poltz, The Refugees, Vicci Martinez, Templeton Thompson, Tommy Tutone, Peter Case and Susan Gibson.

O’Neill also hosts Seattle’s only Americana, Roots, Red Dirt, Alt Country radio show, “Who’s Bad Now Radio,” on KGHP-FM, Tuesday nights 7

Vicci Martinez plays Morso May 10

She may be busy as Cee Lo Green’s protege on “The Voice” but Vicci Martinez is finding time to play Morso wine bar Tuesday in Gig Harbor.

A long time local and regional fan favorite, the Stadium High alum is now gaining a new country-wide legion of fans from her exposure on the NBC show.

Martinez’s last show at Morso in Janurary sold out. After Tuesday’s show there will be open seating at Morso to watch “The Voice.”
