Lisa Lampanelli announces make-up appearance at Temple Theatre

Comedian Lisa Lampanelli’s postponed October appearance at the Temple Theatre in Tacoma is now rescheduled for Saturday, February 4 at 7 p.m.

Known as the Queen of Mean, Lampanelli has been described as “a cross between Don Rickles, Archie Bunker, and a vial of estrogen.” Her latest special, “Tough Love,” premiered on Comedy Central in March.

Lampanelli is a frequent guest and guest host on Howard Stern’s Sirius satellite radio shows and has also recently joined Mario Lopez and the EXTRA-TV cast as a guest correspondent.

Tacoma Holiday Gift Show, Lisa Lampanelli, critters and more happenings this weekend

The big and highly popular Tacoma Holiday Food & Gift Festival is up and running through Sunday. With more than 600 exhibits, the show is one of the largest holiday events on the West Coast. Hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. today and Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Tacoma Dome, 2727 E. D St., Tacoma. Tickets are $13.50 for adults; $12.50 for seniors/military/juniors; kids 10 and younger get in free. Tickets cover the entire run of the festival. She’s bringing that saucy stand-up routine to the Temple Theater, 47 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma, at 7 p.m. tonight. Tickets are $39.50 at the door.

Lisa Lampanelli, the Queen of Mean, coming to the Temple

Fall really is shaping up to be the season of female comics in Tacoma. Lisa Lampanelli is the latest to announce an appearance here – at the Temple Theatre on Oct. 21.

Wanda Sykes will be at the Pantages on Sept. 16, Margaret Cho performs there Oct. 28 followed a week later by Joan Rivers on Nov. 4.

Tickets for the Lampanelli show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
