Chad and Jeremy return to Immanuel Presbyterian on Sunday

Original “British Invaders” Chad and Jeremy are back at Tacoma’s Immanuel Presbyterian Church to perform a free benefit concert to support an international Habitat for Humanity build in Guatemala.

The pair, whose full names are Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde, first broke into America with the rest of the Brits in the early 1960s. The duo were quite successful until breaking up. They reunited in 2003 and have been touring together since. They performed at Immanuel two years ago.

But that hasn’t kept Clyde from pursuing his busy acting career. He’s appeared in the popular BBC drama “Downton Abbey”

Three Interfaith Amigos come to Immanuel Presbyterian Tacoma on Wednesday

Seattle-based religious comedians the Three Interfaith Amigos come to Tacoma this Wednesday to promote their new book, “Religion Gone Astray: What we found at the heart of interfaith.”

Rabbi Ted Falcon, Pastor Don Mackenzie and Imam Jamal Rahman have toured to national media acclaim, bringing the message of inter-religious respect and understanding via a strong friendship and good stand-up humor.
