Macklemore, T.I., Trey Songz, 2 Chainz headline Summer Jam

That sweet Hip Hop confection called Summer Jam has announced its lineup for its June 8 show at The Gorge Amphitheatre.

KUBE 93 Summer Jam will feature T.I., Trey Songz, 2 Chainz, Wale and J. Cole and is hosted by Seattle’s Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at all Ticketmaster outlets and at 800-745-3000. Ticket prices are $49.75 plus applicable service fees and include a $0.25 per ticket donation to Food Lifeline.

It’s a watershed moment for country music

Dierks Bentley, Kix Brooks, Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Dwight Yoakam and other country stars are headed to the Gorge Amphitheatre for three days of music and camping this August.

From Friday, August 3 to Sunday, August 5 the Watershed Music Festival will take over the spectacular setting in George. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

Live Nation Entertainment promises late night sets, impromptu jam sessions, collaborations and more. They are modeling the festival on their popular (and sold out) Sasquatch! Music Festival.

Journey, Pat Benatar, Loverboy headed to the Gorge

It’s going to be a 70s love fest when Journey joins Pat Benatar and Loverboy at the Gorge Amphitheater on July 28. Tickets go on sale Saturday.

In the 70s and 80s it was nearly impossible to turn on a radio without hearing Benatar’s “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” Loverboy’s “Working For The Weekend” or any number of chart-topping hits from Journey.

Journey may have lost lead singer Steve Perry but if you haven’t stopped believin’ you’ll hardly notice the difference with Arnel Pineda in the front man spot. The Philippines-born singer was discovered on YouTube

Single-day tickets for “Dave Matthews Band Caravan” at The Gorge Amphitheatre will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. The Labor Day weekend (September 2, 3 and 4) event will have three stages during the day and a full set by the Dave Matthews Band each night.

Dave Matthews Band Caravan at The Gorge

Dave Matthews Band Caravan is only making one West Coast stop this year: at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George September 2, 3 and 4.

The event features a diverse lineup of musical talent performing on multiple stages during the day and a full set by headliners Dave Matthews Band each night.

Toby Keith coming to the Gorge Aug. 20

Toby Keith is bringing his Locked & Loaded Tour to the Gorge Amphitheater Aug. 20. Also performing that night will be Eric Church.

Tickets for the show are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. April 16. Reserved tickets will be $67-$89 and lawn tickets will be $35.

Gym Class Heroes, The Devil Wears Prada among bands in Vans Warped Tour 2011

The Vans Warped Tour will touch down at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Aug. 13.

Tickets for the concert in George, Wash., go on sale Friday, otherwise known as April Fools Day. The tour press release boasts that the tour is famous for “bringing skate/punk/action sports and youth culture to the forefront on a global scale.”

The national tour’s main stage artists are: 3OH!3, A Day To Remember, Gym Class Heroes, The Devil Wears Prada and Asking Alexandria. The acts will join an eclectic mix of bands prominent in the worlds of punk, indie, metal and hardcore, to rock, pop, electronic, reggae and hip-hop, according to the news release.
