Nine50nine, The Big Wheel Stunt Show, From the Sea play Jazzbones Saturday

It’s a great local line-up. Seattle’s Nine50nine will play Jazzbones on Saturday along with Tacoma’s The Big Wheel Stunt Show and From the Sea.

Nine50nine includes drummer Dave Krusen of Ida Maria (formerly of Pearl Jam), lead guitarist Cameron Brownfield, rhythm guitarist Alan Hunt, bass player Jeremy Lightfoot (Blake Lewis, Satchel) and lead vocalist Ty Willman of Green Apple Quick Step. Hell’s Kitchen will be reborn as The Loch’s

Hell’s Kitchen closed its doors at 928 Pacific Ave. in late June when its four owners could not financially sustain the business. It had been a fixture on the Tacoma music scene for 10 years.

Cancelled: Lamb of God/Dethklok/Gojira

Wednesday’s Lamb of God tour opener with Dethklok and Gojira at WaMu Theater in Seattle has been cancelled.

Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe is in police custody in the Czech Republic over an incident at a 2010 show in which a fan allegedly died.

In a statement today the band said: “…the uncertainty of Randy’s release makes it impossible to carry on with the tour. Upon Randy’s release, it is the band’s intention to rebook a tour in the fall and at this time the band fully intends to participate in the Mayhem Cruise in December.”
