First, the good news: Rapper Pitbull is performing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord on Thursday. Now, the bad news: Forget about seeing him if you don’t have access to the base.

Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Perez, apparently is so big now he has more than one nickname: Mr. 305 and Mr. Worldwide. Whatever you call him he’ll be performing in a free show for JBLM soldiers, airmen and their families (18 and over only).

Rapper, producer, actor and reality show star Coolio returns to Tacoma tonight for a show at Hell’s Kitchen.

The show with Tom Hutch has doors at 6 p.m. and features a freestyle contest from 7:30 p.m. until the 10 p.m. show (21 and over after 10 p.m.) Pre-sale tickets are $20, $25 at the door.

After days of rumors it’s now official: Kanye West and Jay-Z bring their Watch the Throne Tour to the Tacoma Dome on December 16. Tickets go on sale Friday.

On Monday an October date was listed for Tacoma and then quickly rescinded.

Don’t delay in buying tickets – presales have been brisk at other stops on the tour and no doubt led to the added stop at the Tacoma Dome. Online tickets buyers will receive a digital copy of the album.
