Michael Bublé is coming to KeyArena for a Nov. 15 show. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Jason Aldean to play Tacoma Dome on Sept. 27

Country singer Jason Aldean brings his Night Train Tour 2013 to the Tacoma Dome for a Sept. 27 show. He’ll be sharing the evening with Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday at, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at 800-745-3000.


Russell Brand brings his Messiah Complex to Nepture Theatre on Aug. 30

British comedian Russell Brand has a Messiah Complex and he’s taking it to Seattle’s Neptune Theatre for an Aug. 30 show. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Messiah Complex is the comic’s first world stand-up tour. It’s themed on recent and ancient world social and religious figures from Jesus to Che Guevara to Malcom X. Sounds like heavy stuff but knowing Brand I’m sure he’ll find the humor in it.

Nine Inch Nails to play KeyArena on Nov. 22

Nine Inch Nails will play KeyArena at Seattle Center on November 22 it was announced today. It’s a stop on the band’s fall tour (Nine Inch Nails: Tension 2013) supporting a new album, also announced today. Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, June 14.

NIN’s new album, Hesitation Marks, will be released on September 3. The new single, “Came Back Haunted,” is available today on iTunes.

Cheap Trick to play State Fair on Sept. 11

They still want you to want them. Venerable rockers Cheap Trick will play the Washington State Fair on Sept. 11. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Cheap Trick will perform two of their classic albums with an orchestra: At Budokan and Sgt. Pepper Live at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Tickets are $55, $45, $35, and $25 with reserved seating, and include Fair gate admission, unless noted. You can find tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday on the fair’s website, or by phone 888-559-FAIR (3247) daily, 7 a.m.

Bon Jovi headed to Tacoma Dome for Oct. 5 show

UPDATE (June 4): Single, regular tickets that were orignially announced to go on sale on Saturday, June 8 will now go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, June 10.

Bon Jovi announced today that the Tacoma Dome is going to be a stop on its “Because We Can” tour on Oct. 5.

The band is offering all sorts of VIP packages – pricey additions but full of swag and backstage access. Check out their website for full details. VIP/backstage tickets for the Tacoma show go on sale at 10 a.m. on June 4.

No maybe about it: Carly Rae Jepsen will play State Fair

Carly Rae Jepsen and Hot Chelle Rae will perform at the Washington State Fair on Sept. 20. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Jepsen, the singer behind “Call Me Maybe,” “Tonight Tonight,” and “I Like It Like That,” and double Platinum certified quartet Hot Chelle Rae will share the stage in Puyallup.

Celebrate Gospel music on Sunday

A concert and awards event will fill Allen AME Church with the joyful sound of gospel music on Sunday.

“Gospel Music in the Old Time Way” will start at 3 p.m. at the church at 1223 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way in Tacoma.

MCs for the event are Minister C. Ivan Johnson and gospel comedian Tracie Davis.

The event will honor over a dozen gospel performers.
