Roger Waters brings “The Wall” to Seattle in May

Roger Waters is bringing “The Wall” to KeyArena on May 24, 2012. Tickets go on sale November 14 at 10 a.m.

It was just last year that Waters brought “The Wall” to the Tacoma Dome. Waters’ homage to Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” is his magnum opus. His attempt to update one of the most mythic tours in rock history – a 1979 production that visited just two American cities – was serious cause for celebration. Puyallup Fair Schedule is set

The final act has been booked for September’s Puyallup Fair. Sammy Hagar, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Selena Gomez, Amy Grant, Miranda Lambert, Big & Rich, Flaming Lips and much more are on the schedule.

Roger Daltrey to perform “Tommy,” other Who hits at KeyArena Oct. 25

It was announced earlier this morning that Roger Daltrey will perform at KeyArena on Oct. 25.

Daltrey will perform The Who’s “Tommy” as well as other hits from The Who.

Tickets will be $37.50-$123 (plus fees) and go on sale May 20 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available at the KeyArena Box Office, Ticketmaster locations, by phone at 800-745-3000 and Ticketmaster.com.

Memorial concert for Kent Morrill May 4

Kent Morrill is being remembered by his band in the best way they can: a memorial concert. The lead singer of The Fabulous Wailers died April 15 of cancer. He was 70.

On May 4 past and present members of The Wailers and a who’s who of Puget Sound classic rock performers will take the stage at a free, all ages concert at Tacoma’s Temple Theater.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery announces summer concert season

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery announced their summer concert season today. Lyle Lovett, Chris Issak, Amos Lee, Chris Botti, The B-52s and even Jeff Bridges (he has a band, who knew?) are just some of the big names coming to the winery in Woodinville this summer.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster, the Chateau Ste. Michelle wine shop, or at 800-745-3000.
