Picture 2Jim Gaffigan is a popular comedian. He’s added a second show for his Seattle appearance.

The first show is at 7 p.m. and the newly added time is at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 at The Paramount. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are already on sale. Tickets for the new show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. It’s all ages.

Tickets are $43.50-$53.50 (not including fees) and available online at Tickets.com, Paramount Box Office, 24-hour kiosks at The Paramount, Moore and Neptune Theatres. For more information visit STGPresents.org.

I saw Gaffigan’s show in Portland last year (Fred “Portlandia” Armisen opened for him) and he was definitely a crowd pleaser. His encore, of course, was his famous riff on Hot Pockets.

Here’s more info:

Gaffigan’s clever, quiet style has made him one of the top five most successful touring comedians in the country today and his CDs and DVDs have reached platinum sales. Gaffigan has had an unprecedented number of appearances on late night’s “Letterman” and “Conan.” His writing and voice work on the animated series “Pale Force” for Conan led to nominations for both a Broadband Emmy and a Webby Award.

Gaffigan has had breakout guest appearances on many comedies and dramas ranging from HBO’s cult hits “Flight of the Concords” and “Bored to Death” to dramatic roles in all three versions of “Law & Order”.
