Looking for an unusual way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Try Cirque Zuma Zuma in Everett.

Described as an African-style Cirque du Soleil the production will play Comcast Arena at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.

Zuma Zuma features dancers, pole acts, acrobats, comedians, contortionists and percussionists accompanied by a live musical score and vocalists. Acrobats perform handstands on human pyramids and stacked chairs 20 feet high. Women balance and spin tables and jars with their feet. And, of course, there are Zulu dancers.

The production is associated with Bomas of Kenya and the African Acrobats International Academy.

Tickets ($19, $29, $39) are on sale now at the Comcast Arena at Everett Box Office, online at www.comcastarenaeverett.com, or by calling 866-332-8499. Mother’s Day Dinner Packages are
available by calling 425-322-2629. Dinner package includes lower level seating, buffet dinner, parking and a meet and greet with the performers.
