If going through airport security and bumpy flights aren’t scary enough the Museum of Flight will take it one step further on Sunday, Oct. 28. That’s when it becomes the “Museum of Fright” for a Halloween celebration.

Costumed kids are admitted free at the event which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be family activities and low admission prices for all visitors.

Events include: face painting, ghost stories, pumpkin bowling, ghost parachutes, spooky flight simulator rides, photo booth, “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein” movie and more.

Costumed children 17 and under are free (with adult supervision.) Admission for children 17 and under without a costume is $5, and $10 for all adults. Admission prices are valid all day.

Here’s more on the museum and all the info you’ll need;

The non-profit Museum of Flight is one of the largest independent air and space museums in the world. The Museum aeronautical library and archival holdings are the largest on the West Coast. The Education Office offers weekend family programs, programs for students and educators, and overnight camps for children. McCormick & Schmick’s Wings Café is on site.

The Museum of Flight is located at 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, Exit 158 off Interstate 5 on Boeing Field half-way between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport.
