The arts are alive and humming this weekend at these local festivals:
Chalk the Harbor
Find your inner artist and join in creating artwork on Gig Harbor sidewalks, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 21, Gig Harbor Downtown Historic Waterfront District, Harborview Drive Gig Harbor,

Annual Art-aThon, Artists from Proctor Art Gallery volunteer their time and talents at this community event. Shop the farmers’ market, visit with the artists, and donate for a chance to win several unique pieces created that day. Enjoy activities, games, and music while learning about Tacoma’s history. Join the Living History Walking Tour at 12:30, 1:00, & 1:30 p.m.
