Shyan Selah to release new single at Freighthouse Square

Rock/soul/hip hop fusion recording artist Shyan Selah and his band, The Republic of Sound, will be performing and releasing a new single, “Pink Butterfly,” on Saturday at Freighthouse Square.

The event is also a breast cancer benefit.

Selah’s entertainment company, BNW Global, recently moved to Freighthouse Square and will be producing one event a month there, said Candice Richardson, vice-president of media relations.

Selah is the brother of local rapper Quincy “Q Dot” Henry.
