Author J.A. Jance talk and book signing at UP library on July 26

New York Times best-selling author J.A. Jance will appear at University Place Pierce County Library on Thursday, July 26 at 7 p.m. for a free talk and book signing.

Jance joins a list of over 20 authors who have given talks and book
signings at the University Place library since it opened in its new location last year.

Jance is the author of the J.P. Beaumont series, the Joanna Brady series, the Ali Reynolds series and four thrillers about the Walker Family.

Jance’s newest book in the Brady series, “Judgment Call,” will be released July 24 and will be available for purchase at the event. “Judgment Call” is the 14th book in the series that features Brady – the crime-solving mother and first female sheriff of Cochise County, Ariz.

Jance lives in Seattle and Tucson.

A portion of the proceeds from books sold at the free event will help support the Friends of the University Place Library. The Friends assist the library by providing funding for furniture and events.

    Is this all the UP residents get for millions of sqandered tax money? 20 Authors in 5 years for what, book signings? Why is there a charge for this public event? This is pathetic.
