Mother Earth News Fair 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Puyallup Fairgrounds (Showplex). Admission fee. Two days of workshops, demos and exhibitions on renewable energy, small-scale agriculture, green building, seeds, gardening and more. Speakers include Ed Begley, Jr. and mushroom man Paul Stamets.
