The Grizzled Mighty
Seattle-based The Grizzled Mighty is hooking up with Tacoma’s Voxxy Vallejo and Cottonwood Cutups at the Harmon Tap Room on Saturday for an 8 p.m. show.

The Grizzled Mighty is a Blues Rock duo made up of lead singer/guitarist Ryan Granger and drummer, Whitney Petty (formerly of Deerhunter). Their style has been compared to The White Stripes, Black Keys and The Kills.

For the past few months four singles from The Grizzled Mighty’s LP have been in rotation on KEXP and, after a trip to New Zealand, there as well. The Grizzled Mighty will play Seattle’s Folklife Festival this summer and are recording a new EP planned for release before the end of the year.
