Comedic ventriloquist Jeff Dunham had barely left Tacoma last weekend before he booked a return trip to Pierce County. Dunham will perform at the Puyallup Fair on September 20.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Dunham and his cast of characters remain enormously popular. His show last weekend at the Tacoma Dome was sold out weeks in advance. So, don’t delay getting your tickets for the fair show.

Dunham, along with Walter, Peanut and Achmed, have sold millions of DVDs, had their You Tube videos viewed half a billion times and produced several highly rated TV specials.

Tickets go on sale on the Fair website, or by phone 888-559-FAIR (3247), daily, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. PST. To save the convenience charges, purchase tickets in person at the Puyallup Fair Events Center box office at 9th Avenue SW and Meridian Street on Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Ticket prices are $65 golden circle; $45 infield; grandstand seating at $40 and $25. Seats are reserved and include Fair gate admission.

Pollstar named Dunham the top-grossing live comedy act in the world in 2009 and 2010. In late 2010 Dunham released his autobiography, “All By My Selves: Walter, Peanut, Achmed and Me.” He’s made cameo appearances on NBC’s “30 Rock” and in the Steve Carell movie “Dinner for Schmucks.”
