Aerosmith and Cheap Trick are coming to the Tacoma Dome for an August 8 show. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Start stocking up on your hair feather accessories. Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and the rest of one of America’s longest running and hardest partying rock bands will be playing an 8 p.m. show. It’s the final stop on their Global Warming Tour.

“The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your ass and make out with your mothers,” Steven Tyler said in today’s announcement.

Aerosmith’s arena tour is playing 18 markets beginning on June 16 in Minneapolis.

Aerosmith had their 40th anniversary in 2010. They’ve sold over 150 million albums and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They’ve accumulated countless awards and even crossed over into rap with their Run DMC remix of “Walk This Way.” Tyler is now a judge on “American Idol.”

Tickets will go on sale at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.
