Jay and Silent Bob
The film comedy duo Jay and Silent Bob are headed to Emerald City Comicon in April.

The pair, whose real names are writer/director Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes, will make a special one night only appearance at 7 p.m. on April 1 (no, this is not an April Fools Day prank.)

Smith and Mewes left their mark on pop culture history with films like “Clerks,” “Mallrats,” “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” and “Clerks 2.”

In Seattle they will record their comedy podcast “Jay & Silent Bob Get Old.” Tickets for the event will be sold separately. See below for more info.

More from the press release:

Ranked #1 on iTunes Comedy podcasts, “Jay & Silent Bob Get Old” is a sometimes touching, always hilarious, look at what
happens when two people grow up in Hollywood’s gaze. These limited engagements will be recorded as the stories evolve live in front of the audience, and released for free on www.smodcast.com.

This is what fans everywhere have been waiting for – an opportunity to see their heroes on stage doing what they love, telling stories. This is a limited tour and tickets are on sale now (see below.)

“Jay & Silent Bob Get Old” will take place in Room 4A at the Washington State Convention Center on
Sunday night, April 1st, at 7 p.m. (doors at 6 p.m.). All seating is GENERAL ADMISSION with 200 PREMIUM seats (front of the room) that will also include a poster pre-signed by Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes.

General Admission tickets are $40 and Premium tickets (limited to 200) are $85. Tickets are available

Please note, this is a separately ticketed event hosted by Emerald City Comicon. Daily, Weekend, Child, VIP or Press Badges for ECCC are not valid for this special event. Additionally, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes will not be meeting fans while at ECCC. Their appearance is purely in conjunction with this special onstage performance.
