Tia Carrere
Emerald City Comicon announced this morning that Eddie McLintock, the star of SyFy Channel’s “Warehouse 13,” and actress Tia Carrere will both be guests at the 10th annual event in March.

McLintock plays Secret Service agent Peter Lattimer on the show and has had roles in “Bones” and “Desperate Housewives.” Carrere has played Mike Myers’ girlfriend in “Wayne’s World” and a villain opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in “True Lies.”

Emerald City Comicon runs March 30-April 1 at the Washington State Convention Center.

From the press release:

“Warehouse 13″ premiered in 2009 and centers around McLintock’s character and his team working in a government warehouse, retrieving and protecting curious artifacts from history that possess mysterious powers. McLintock’s Agent Lattimer would eventually be visited by an old flame and fellow Secret Service Agent Katie Logan, played by Carrere.

Carrere is an actress that is equal parts beauty and talent. Perhaps best known for playing Mike Myers’ girlfriend Cassandra Wong”in the comedy films “Wayne’s World” and it’s sequel “Wayne’s World 2,” she also gained fame in action offerings with films such as “True Lies” with Arnold Schwarzenegger and as Sydney Fox in television’s “Relic Hunter.” Her career stretches the spectrum, showing off her voice talents as Nani in the kid friendly “Lilo and Stitch” and Queen Martian in “Duck Dodgers” while also showing off other attributes in the very adult-oriented Playboy Magazine, where hers was the top-selling issue for 2003. Fans will remember her on-screen singing career in “Wayne’s World,” (including her cover of the 1973 classic “Ballrom Blitz”) but she also won a Grammy Award in both 2009 and 2011 for Best Hawaiian Album. Carrere next appears in the upcoming season of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” along with another ECCC 2012 celebrity guest, actor George Takei.
