Haunted Firehouse A fundraiser that supports programs of the Family Support Center and Capital Playhouse’s Kids At Play. The Haunted Firehouse is on the corner of State Avenue and Capitol Way, Olympia, and will be open 5-10 p.m. through Monday. It features Jusby the Clown, as well as other well-known local actors.

Bonfires, Beaver Pelts & Bogeymen Celebrate Halloween in the style of past centuries by listening to ghost stories told around a roaring bonfire, 7-9 tonight and Saturday at Fort Nisqually in Tacoma’s Point Defiance Park. Follow a trail of glowing jack-o-lanterns to a blazing bonfire in the meadow beyond the fort’s walls. Storytellers from the past will send shivers down your spine as their words bring forth spirits of the fur trade. The evening begins with gentler tales that appropriate for all ages. After a break for complimentary cider and cookies, stories get darker. Dress for chilly weather. Chairs or blankets to sit on are welcome.
