Tacoma’s own Jo Koy makes return appearance at The Moore

You may have sat next to Joe Herbert at Foss High School but now’s he’s nationally known comic Jo Koy and he’s coming back to Seattle’s Moore Theatre Nov. 19 for an 8 p.m. show.

Koy is bringing his new Lights Out Tour to Seattle. He’s a regular guest on E!’s “Chelsea Lately” and will be filming his second 1-hour Comedy Central stand-up special later this year.

Craft beer, hops vines, live music, food and kids’ activities will fill the historic Mary Olson farmstead just outside Auburn this weekend for the second annual Hops and Crops Harvest Festival. Noon-6 p.m. Saturday. General admission is $5, beer tasting admission for those 21 and older is $10, but those younger than 13 get in free. Yes, that’s Seattle’s KeyArena in the new show ‘X-Factor’

Maybe you remembered the auditions held in April for the new Simon Cowell TV show, “X-Factor,” in Seattle at KeyArena. Or the live audience with the judges in the second national call-back audition in July also at KeyArena. If not, then tune in Wednesday night at 8 p.m. on Channel 13 for the debut of “X-Factor” where those July auditions will be part of the show. Jeff Dunham brings Controlled Chaos to Tacoma Dome

Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is returning to the Tacoma Dome on March 24 for his Controlled Chaos tour.

You can get a taste of what’s to come when his TV Special of the same name premieres Sunday on Comedy Central. He’s introducing two new characters: Achmed Junior (the son of Achmed the Dead Terrorist) and Little Jeff (a puppet version of Dunham.)
