You don’t have to wait until America’s Car Museum opens next year to see some amazing automobiles. The LeMay Family Collection Foundation is having its 34th Annual LeMay Car Show, Auction & Swap Meet at the Marymount Event Center Saturday.

The foundation is distinct from the organization that’s building that odd looking museum between Highway 705 and the Tacoma Dome. The LeMay Family’s annual event runs 9 a.m.-5 p.m. 1,000 different automobiles, trucks and motorcycles from their collection will be on display. In addition hundreds of local collector cars will be on view.

Also that day:
– Automobile-related vendor displays
– Food vendors
– Car Club Corral
– Automotive Swap Meet
– Collector car auction

The event’s featured car is a 1958 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88. Also on display is the “Fascination” car – one of only five created.

General admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students aged 6 to 17, and free admission for active-duty military and young children aged 5 and under. Free General Parking will be available off-site with free shuttle bus transportation between the parking lots, the Marymount Event Center, and the LeMay home grounds. For more information visit or call 253- 272-2336.
