If the weather cooperates Saturday blues fans are going to have one nice day in the park. The Tacoma Old Town Blues Festival once again takes over Old Town Park.

For almost two decades the festival has been bringing great local and regional blues to Tacoma. This year’s event has 15 hours of entertainment with Alex Martin, Cold Shot, 9 Lb. Hammer, Laurie and the Lonely Teardrops, Chris Stevens & The Surf Monkeys, New Old Stock, Mojo Overload, Jr. Hill Blues Band, Little Bill & The Bluenotes, The Collective, The Red Roosters, Al Earick Band, Blue and Lonesome, Rod Cook & Toast, The High Rollers.

You can buy tickets per set or an all-day pass for $20. The venues are Mountaineers Legends Stage, Slavonian Hall Stage and The Spar Stage. The good news is that the main stage in the park is free.

All proceeds are donated to the Breast Cancer Resource Center.
