Canadian band Current Swell plays Jazzbones June 15. The B.C. based band is a new roots/surf rock group made of actual cold water surfers.

From Current Swell:

The band has toured internationally including Hawaii, Indonesia and Australia (you can watch a video of their Indonesia/Australia tour here) and played shows with the Beach Boys, Bedouin Soundclash, Xavier Rudd and The Beautiful Girls.

After releasing their third album *Protect Your Own*, the band signed to Canada’s Fontana North label and Japan’s Surf Rock Records.
