The Flaming Lips to heat up Puyallup Fair

Maybe Yoshimi and the Pink Robots will be there.

The Flaming Lips will perform on Sept. 21 at the Puyallup Fair. Besides great music the band puts on one of the most visually interesting concerts going. In 2002, Q magazine said The Flaming Lips was one of the “50 Bands to See Before You Die.”

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, June 4 at 10:00 a.m. NEW THIS YEAR: Tickets go on sale on the Fair website, www.thefair.com/concerts (NOT Ticketmaster) or by phone (888) 559-FAIR (3247). The new phone number will be staffed daily, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. PST. To save the convenience charges, purchase tickets in person at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center box office at 9th Avenue SW and Meridian Street on June 4, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Ticket prices are $50 golden circle; $40 infield; $30 and $20 grandstand seating. Seats are reserved and include Fair gate admission.
