The second annual “On the Road to Paradise” spring wine tasting event is coming to Ashford on May 14.

The tasting gives you a chance to sample a variety of hard-to-find, artisanal wines from small producers.

The featured wineries will be Flying Dreams in Woodenville, Madsen Family Cellars in Olympia, Naches Heights Vineyard and Winery in Yakima, Scatter Creek Winery in Tenino, Stina’s Cellars in Tacoma, Trillium Creek Winery on the Key Peninsula, Wilridge Winery in Seattle and the Small Lot Co-Op that represents 11 wineries.

For the beer drinkers out there, Naked City Brewery will be joining the event.

The event will be from 3-8 p.m. May 14 at Whittaker Basecamp, 30027 State Route 706 E., Ashford.

Admission is $20, or free if you spend a night in Ashford, Elbe, Longmire or Mineral.

You also can register for $17 tickets and get more information by clicking here.
