Tickets go on sale Friday, April Fool’s Day, to see legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon at the Showbox at The Market in Seattle on April 17.

The Showbox performance is among several new club dates just added to Simon’s U.S. spring tour. Simon previously announced he will launch the tour at the WAMU Theater in Seattle on April 15. That concert is billed as the 103.7 The Mountain 20th Anniversary Party.

If you want tickets to either show, you’d better hurry. Concerts in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and several other venues around the country and Canada have already sold out.

If you can’t get tickets, there’s always TV. The WAMU Theater website says Simon will appear on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on April 6 and 7.

Simon’s tour celebrates the April 12 release of his first new record in five years, “So Beautiful or So What.” The concert set lists will include numbers from the new CD, along with songs from his career.
