State funds will help fund new and remodeled Pierce County schools

Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn today announced the release of more than $185 million in capital construction money to school districts throughout the state. The funding includes:

* Tacoma School District: Washington Elementary School project:  $4.7 million

* Clover Park School District, Lakewood: Clarkmoor Elementary School, $6. 9 million;  Greenwood Elementary School, $6.4 million; Harrison Prep/Oakwood/Southgate replacement project: $26.8 million.
