You can follow news and information about Tacoma Public Schools construction projects by becoming a fan of the school district’s Planning and Construction’s Twitter and Facebook social networking sites.

Voters this year approved a $500 million bond measure that will pay for 14 new and renovated schools, along with nearly 200 small capital improvement projects throughout the school district.

Those interested in following the design and construction progress on Twitter and Facebook can visit the district Planning and Construction Facebook fan page at Building For Achievement or receive alerts at #bldg4achievemnt through Twitter.

Links to both social networking sites can also be found on the district Planning and Construction Web site under Departments and Programs at www.tacomaschools.org.
