The Puyallup Public Library and Kaplan, a company that sells test preparation and other educational services, will offer free workshops to help students apply for college.

A  free SAT/ACT practice test is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30. Those who register will be given a practice test that will reflect what it is like to take the actual SAT and ACT. Test-takers should come prepared with a pencil, eraser, calculator, and snack.

In a follow-up session scheduled for 6-7 p.m. April 9, students may pick up test results and attend a test strategies seminar.  Those who were unable to take the practice test are still welcome to attend. the follow-up.

Workshops are free, but registration is required. Visit Kaplan’s website to register for any workshop.
