Liquor board seizes pot enriched beer from Tacoma medical marijuana outlet after sale to minor

Officials seized cases of beer Friday from a medical marijuana outlet in Tacoma, after the store sold alcohol labeled ”cannabis enriched” to a minor during an undercover buy operation, according to the state liquor control board.

The Hashford Compassion Club at 11220 Pacific Ave. S. does not have a license to sell alcohol, the board said.

After receiving a complaint that a minor was sold alcohol, the board organized the covert buy with the help of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department and a minor informant, who was able to purchase three bottles advertised as “Cannabis Enriched Honey Beer,” according to the board.
