Court records: DUI suspect handed officer can of beer when asked for his driver’s license, said he was a government assassin

Handing the Kent police officer a can of Miller Lite instead of his driver’s license and identifying himself as a government assassin didn’t help the DUI suspect avoid arrest, according to court records.

His arraignment for the felony DUI charge is scheduled for June 24 and his bail is set at $250,000.

Officers said three women followed the 26-year-old Kent man and called police about 9 p.m. June 8 because he was driving erratically.

Spilled load closes part of Boeing Access Road in Tukwila

Crews have closed the westbound direction of the Boeing Access Road to northbound Airport Way in Tukwila after a truck spilled its load of large wooden beams, Tukwila police reported.

The accident occurred about 6 a.m. The truck hit a barrier, then spilled its load onto the roadway, police reported.

No one was injured. Crews are working to clean up the beams.

The road could be closed until at least 1 p.m. today, police reported.
