King County officers arrest prolific car prowlers, now trying to return stolen property

South King County law enforcement officers say they’ve busted two prolific car prowlers and recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen property.

King County prosecutors have charged the two – a man and woman – with several crimes, the Kent Police Department announced today.

The arrests came after a multi-agency investigation. The investigators believe the two broke into more than 100 cars and stole property, including GPS units, laptop computers, cellular phones, wallets and purses. They’d used the stolen credit cards are local businesses, police said.

Deputies find grow ops, stolen property at Roy-area home

Acting on a tip, Pierce County sheriff’s deputies found two marijuana grow operations and a bounty of stolen property last week on a Roy-area property.

The tipster reported to deputies on Feb. 25 that there was possible stolen property at the home in the 4600 block of 350th Street Court South. There’s a history of criminal activity at the home and the homeowner and his son had outstanding misdemeanor warrants, the Sheriff’s Department reports.

Two arrested in stolen property investigation, Puyallup police report

Pierce County investigators have arrested two men and recovered five stolen vehicles after a three-week investigation into stolen property.

The arrests were made Wednesday night with the help of the Washington State Patrol’s airplane, the Puyallup Police Department reported. The two, ages 21 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of multiple counts of possession of stolen property and trafficking in stolen property.

The investigation began with a tip from a confidential informant, police reported. The person told the Puyallup Police Department’s special investigations unit about motor vehicle thefts within the city and in the surrounding areas that were being committed
