UPDATED: Auburn man fatally stabbed trying to break up fight between man and woman

A man was stabbed to death in Auburn about midnight as he attempted to break up a fight between a man and a woman, Auburn police say.

The man and woman were arguing inside a house near Sixth Street Southeast and K Street Southeast in Auburn. The fight became physical and was taken to the front yard.

A neighbor from across the street came to break up the fight and was stabbed by another man who was with the couple.

The victim collapsed in the street and died, police say.

Man seriously injured after stabbing Sunday night in Tacoma

One man was hospitalized and another jailed after a stabbing Sunday night in Tacoma.

The 63-year-old victim was dropped off at Tacoma General Hospital around 9 p.m. Sunday with possible life threatening stab wounds, Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum said. Officers responded to the hospital and got information about where the stabbing took place.

Officers went to where the victim had been staying in the 1000 block of South Seventh Street and knocked on the door. The suspect, a 53-year-old man, reportedly opened the door and put up his hands, Fulghum said.

Lakewood woman arraigned for allegedly stabbing husband

A Lakewood woman who allegedly stabbed her husband during an argument Saturday was charged with first-degree assault Monday.

Pierce County prosecutors accuse Fatima Renae Moore, 25, of stabbing her 27-year-old husband in their apartment complex on the 11400 block of 105th Avenue SW. A friend reportedly heard a loud crash and found Moore with a knife in her hand and the victim bleeding from the chest. The friend brought the injured man to Madigan Army Medical Center just after 3 p.m. Saturday, according to Lakewood police spokesman Chris Lawler.

UPDATED: Man stabbed, critically injured in South Tacoma

UPDATED WITH NEW INFORMATION:

Tacoma police arrested a man Tuesday night after he allegedly stabbed a 68-year-old man during an argument.

The stabbing occurred in the 5800 block of South Warner Street shortly before 6:30 p.m., police reported.

The suspect and his girlfriend were having an argument. Her father, the 68-year-old man, got involved. The father and boyfriend argued.

During the argument, the boyfriend allegedly stabbed the father several times in the face and arm pit area. Officers were called to the house.

Man injured in stabbing at West End apartment

A man was seriously injured Sunday after he was stabbed at a West End apartment, Tacoma police reported.

The victim, who is in his 20s, walked into St. Joseph Medical Center with multiple stab wounds shortly before 3 p.m. One of the wounds was to his neck and was initially considered life threatening, police reported.

The victim was not able to provide Tacoma police officers with any information about what happened or where. Through further investigation, officers determined the man was stabbed at an apartment in the 2600 block of Westridge Avenue West.

Puyallup police dog recovering at home

Puyallup police dog Daro, who was injured Monday morning while wrestling with an armed shoplifter, is resting at home.

Puyallup police released photos of the 7-year-old German shepherd today.

Meanwhile, a Wal-Mart employee stabbed during the same incident is expected to be released today.

Puyallup police arrested a 31-year-old Tacoma man on Monday after he allegedly shoplifted from the Wal-Mart across from the South Hill Mall, stabbed an employee during a confrontation nearby and then stabbed Daro.

Two injured in stabbing in downtown Tacoma

Two men were injured Wednesday night when an argument led to a stabbing in downtown Tacoma.

Neither of the men’s injuries were considered life threatening, Tacoma police reported.

The incident began inside an apartment of the Winthrop in the 700 block of Commerce Street shortly before 10 p.m. There had been an argument in the apartment, police reported.

A man and woman left and went outside. Another man, described as the suspect, followed them.

The suspect and other man got into a fight in the roadway. The suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times, police reported.

Tacoma police investigating driveby shooting, stabbing

Tacoma police detectives will be working to get to the bottom of two incidents Sunday night.

The first was a stabbing in the 9800 block of Pacific Avenue. It occurred about 9:45 p.m.

The victim, a 41-year-old Seattle man, got into an argument with an unknown suspect, Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum said. The victim was stabbed and his attacker fled.

The victim was undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Detectives also will be trying to figure out who wounded a 21-year-old man in a driveby shooting and why.
