Pierce County prosecutors have charged a 20-year-old woman with robbing an East Side Tacoma coffee stand last month.
Marisa S. Richie was arraigned Wednesday on one count of first-degree robbery. She's being held in Pierce County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

A 20-year-old woman was killed and her younger brother injured when an occupant of another vehicle opened fire as the siblings sat in their vehicle on an East Side Tacoma street.

Tacoma police and Pierce County sheriff's deputies converged on the East Side this afternoon.
There was a report of a stolen car crashing into a fence in the area of East 50th and McKinley Avenue, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said. The car had been fleeing sheriff's deputies.
