Man accused of trying to kill wife in front of kids turns himself in

A man accused of trying to kill his estranged wife in front of her eight children was arrested Saturday evening and booked into Pierce County Jail after he turned himself in, police said.

Joshua Emanuel Howard, 26, is charged with second-degree attempted murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Howard became angry when he was visiting his children July 6, at which point his wife started getting ready to leave the house with the kids, according to charging papers.

He allegedly took out a revolver, said he loved her and “I gotta kill you,” before firing a bullet later

Warrant issued in Federal Way shooting

A warrant has been issued for a 27-year-old man wanted for shooting his former boss at a Federal Way apartment complex last week.

King County prosecutors have charged Kareem Harris with attempted second-degree murder. Federal Way have been searching for Harris since Wednesday morning’s shooting but have not located him. The charge was filed and warrant was issued for Harris’ arrest Friday.

The 47-year-old victim, who was shot several times, was being treated for his injuries.
