Stolen trailers and box truck full of game consoles found empty in Fife, Auburn and Calif.

SeaTac detectives say two trailers and a box truck stolen last month loaded with 7,000 game consoles have been found, but with no electronics inside, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

The Wii products, worth $2 million, were stolen Dec. 15 or 16 from a warehouse in the 19100 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive in SeaTac.

The box truck was found Dec. 19 parked near a Fife warehouse, and the business logos had been removed from the vehicle.

Police looking for robbers of Tacoma convenience stores

Tacoma police are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects in a series of at least four armed robberies of convenience stores in the city in the past several weeks.

One or two suspects armed with a handgun demanded cash from a clerk in each of the robberies.

The suspects are described as white or Hispanic males with thin builds, ages 20 to 25 , and between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches.

Deputies looking for snatched service dog

Pierce County sheriff’s detectives are searching for a stolen service dog and the three people suspected in the dog-napping.

Oreo is a 3-year-old, black and white, male Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix.

Oreo and his owner, who has a traumatic brain injury, were watching baseball games at Sprinker Recreation Facility on C Street South on May 19. Three suspects approached the man about 2 p.m. and chatted. They played with Oreo.

When the man left the fields, the suspects drove up to the him in the parking log. The suspects opened their car door, grabbed the dog and sped away.

UPDATED: New images released in April purse snatching that injured elderly woman in Tacoma

UPDATED at 11:20 a.m.

Tacoma police are releasing new surveillance images in hopes of finding the man who pushed down and snatched the purse of a 90-year-old woman in a South End parking lot last month.

The images show a man using one of the victim’s stolen credit cards at a gas station at East 74th Street and McKinley Avenue minutes after the robbery. Police say the man is filling up the getaway vehicle from the April 3 attack.

Tacoma police trying to ID robbery suspect

Tacoma police are trying to identify a man suspected of trying to rob a sandwich shop at gunpoint last month.

The suspect went into the Subway at South 84th and South Hosmer streets about 10:25 p.m. April 24. He walked up to the counter and ordered a sandwich. He then presented a note that demanded cash and indicated he had a gun, police reported.

When the employee refused to hand over any cash, the suspect gestured that he had a gun. He then left, police said.

Lakewood police release image of suspected restaurant robber

Lakewood police have released a surveillance photo of a man suspected of twice robbing a Mexican restaurant and trying to rob another eating establishment last month.

During the robberies at El Paraiso and Church’s Chicken, the suspect has placed an order for food, police reported. He then handed an employee a note that demanded cash and indicated he has a gun.

Man sought in sexual assault of Puyallup teen

Puyallup police are searching for a 37-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl he knows.

Pierce County prosecutors charged Manuel Salvador Cortes last month with two counts of second-degree rape. A warrant has been issued for his arrest and detectives fear he might be trying to leave the state.

Prosecutors allege Cortes sexually assaulted the girl inside her apartment the morning of April 21. The 14-year-old girl reported the assault to the police.

Cortes moved out of the apartment and stopped going to work, police reported. Prosecutors filed charges three days after the alleged rape.

Deputies searching for driver who ran over, critically injured man in Spanaway

Pierce County sheriff’s detectives are searching for the driver who hit and ran over a 23-year-old man Thursday night, critically injuring him.

The victim suffered several broken bones and other life threatening injuries, sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said Friday.

The Sheriff’s Department provided the following information.

The victim and a friend had been in a parked truck at the Shell gas station, 22321 Mountain Highway E., in Spanaway about 8:50 p.m. A dark-colored SUV parked next to their vehicle and the SUV’s driver and the victim argued.
